Want to get rid of your chronic fatigue and get your life back? Here’s how…

Updated: Oct 14, 2022

Have you ever wanted to have consistently stable energy levels that allow you to confidently commit to family events and going out with friends, without worrying about whether or not you’ll be able to manage it?

If so, you aren't alone.

Many people struggling with chronic fatigue conditions like Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Post Viral Fatigue, Fibromyalgia and the chronic fatigue related form of ‘long Covid’ experience the same frustration with erratic energy levels.

The uncertainty of how much energy you’ll have from day to day can leave you feeling annoyed, confused and fed up, especially if you end up having to cancel or cut short your plans for the day. Not only do you miss out, but feel as though you’re letting others down.

It’s a devastating aspect of chronic fatigue that can leave you feeling robbed of precious time with those you love.

The problem with getting consistent, stable energy levels is that it can feel as though you are stuck in a catch 22 situation. What if, in your efforts to improve your energy, you do something that makes your fatigue worse instead of better?!

It can sometimes seem better not to risk doing anything that might leave you in bed for a number of days afterwards

Makes sense to be cautious, right?

There is a confusing amount of advice out there on the t’interweb about what to do/not to do. There are loads of stories about people who followed X or took Y and got their energy back. There are just as many articles that tell you why X or Y are all scams or that there’s not enough evidence to support them.

When you are feeling exhausted, it just takes too much energy to wade through it all and decide what might work for you. The confusing information can lead you to doubt whether “recovery” is even possible, especially if you feel that you have tried everything without much improvement to your energy levels.

Luckily, through supporting people to recovery over the past 5 years, I’ve found the solution to the problem…

To get consistent, stable energy levels without the worry of whether or not you’ll be able to manage it you need to:

1. Get curious and explore what's driving your chronic fatigue. Understanding more about the 6 aspects of yourSELF will enable you to stay healthy and well in the future.

2. Resolve the emotional charge caused by traumatic incidents from your past. This work frees up your energy so that you can use it to do the things you want to in the future.

3. Address the physical health of your body by working with a nutritional therapist to rejuvenate your body so that it works as efficiently as possible.

4. Develop tools and techniques to ensure that you never return to chronic fatigue.

Now I'm sure you're reading this and thinking “easier said than done”, right?

You can’t normally do all of this without avoiding the confusion, overwhelm and second guessing of whether what you're doing is the right thing, or whether it’s going to lead to a relapse.

That’s what i’ve created my ‘Your Energy - Your Way' approach to recovery from chronic fatigue. Not only does it shorten the time it takes to recover, it works with your energy levels to make sure that you don’t experience the devastating boom and bust effect whilst recovering.
