About the Workshop
To help maintain a bit of calm and balance over this busy time, I’d like to invite you to join me each Friday afternoon at 1pm so that you can take a few minutes to relax with a mixture of meditation, relaxation and breathing techniques.
The sessions will be on Friday 10th and 17th December for half an hour.
Whether you’re the kind of person who looks forward to Christmas or the kind who likes to treat it as just another day, there’s no getting away from the fact that the busy-ness of Christmas is coming.
There always seem to be an endless selection of extra jobs to do from present buying to food preparation. On top of all of this, there can also be a variety of social pressures such as who’s visiting who as well as the expectations that we put on ourselves. It’s no wonder that many folks find the run up to Christmas a stressful and anxious time.
As a general rule, stress and anxiety are bad news for your body. They set off a cascade of reactions within the body leading to a variety of different symptoms such as exhaustion, dizziness, forgetfulness, migraines and headaches, digestive issues ad well as aches and pains.
For anyone living with chronic fatigue or chronic pain, stress and anxiety tend to make existing symptoms significantly worse, leaving them exhausted and in pain on top of everything else.
