Sleep like a Baby!
About the Workshop
How often to do you wake up feeling unrefreshed, annoyed or fed up because you haven’t had a great night’s sleep?
Good quality sleep is essential for your body to remain healthy and well so you can live a full and enjoyable life.
Struggling with poor sleep can leave you feeling pretty grumpy and unprepared for the day ahead.
Sleep Like A Baby! Course
Over the 4 weeks you will:-
- Learn all about ‘how’ and ‘why’ we sleep:
Understanding the way your body works before during and after sleep is really important as there are so many myths around sleep. It’s important to understand these processes so that you can work with them.
Evolution has put a lot of effort into our sleep so it must be important! Through understanding what's going on inside of us to prepare us for sleep, what happens while we are asleep and how we wake up you can work with your body instead of fighting against it.
- Set yourself up for a good night’s sleep:
We’re going to focus on different ways that you can prepare for sleep so that your body is pre-programmed to succeed. This also includes being clear on what a good night's sleep looks like for you - we're all different, all have different needs so it’s worth taking some time to get clarity on what you want (so you can recognise it when you get it!)
- Deal with a busy head that won’t switch off:
This is such a biggie! Not only do you need tools and techniques that you can turn too, you also need to understand what’s happening internally when you are stressed or anxious.
We humans are a complex piece of biomechanical equipment, prone to squeaks, grinding gears and breakdown! Stress, worry and anxiety have a significant impact on our ability to function smoothly. Finding ways of managing stress, anxiety and worry so that they don’t impact on your sleep can make a huge difference to how you feel and your ability to cope with life.
- Help your subconscious to feel safe and secure:
Sleep is a subconscious process so by developing your own checklist, you will be able to reassure your subconscious that all is well and that it’s safe to sleep.
We'll look at the different aspect that make up “feeling safe” and how you can make small changes to improve your feeling of safety and security and so allow your subconscious to switch off.
Practical Steps & Accountability
Not only will the 4 workshops be full of learning and practical steps, you will also work with fellow attendees to hold each other accountable so that you put into practice what you have learnt. After all, if you change nothing, nothing will change.
I do hope that you feel inspired and excited about these workshops – they really are powerful and can bring about such massive shifts in how you feel, function and perform throughout the day.

About Me...
I’m Suzanne Smith, a chronic fatigue and trauma specialist supporting women and men with conditions like ME, CFS, Fibromyalgia and Post Viral Fatigue to recover their health and wellbeing so that they can go on to live full and enjoyable lives.
As you can imagine, poor sleep is often a key element of chronic fatigue. Over the years I have developed a fantastic toolkit full of information and practical techniques to help my clients. By changing what’s happening for them when they sleep, this element of their chronic fatigue is no longer an issue.
I realise that many people other than those living with chronic fatigue conditions also struggle with poor sleep and don’t wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead. The knowledge and experience I have about improving sleep is applicable to anyone who is struggling, not just those with chronic fatigue, and I am really excited to be able to share it with you.
